Meet our First Alliance Governing Board
The governing board is made up of church members elected by the congregation to serve and lead the church during their terms of service. The board directs the vision of the church and supports the staff as they carry out that vision. The senior pastor serves as chair of the governing board, and the members work together to carry out their responsibilities. The board meets monthly, and welcomes your questions, comments, and prayers!
Bill Moss,

Bill grew up in Michigan, graduating from Western Michigan University. He married Tracy in 2000 and loves being a dad to their 2 boys and 1 daughter. Bill works in retail asset protection, travelling up and down the west coast of Florida. After moving to Port Charlotte in 2006, Bill & Tracy found their church home at FAC and became members. Bill has enjoyed going on 2 short-term mission trips to Peru with his sons on teams from FAC, and serves on the Security team. His favorite coffee place is Mission Grounds - if you see him in there, let him buy you a coffee & get to know you better!

Edward Leslie,
|
Edward was voted onto the board in January of 2018.
|
My name is Edward Leslie and I am proud to serve on your First Alliance Church Governing Board. I have been attending FAC for over 10 years and have served in many capacities. Sometimes I'm referred to as the "Chicken Guy." Maybe that's because I'm the local Owner/Operator of a Chick-fil-A restaurant here in Port Charlotte. I'm a father to two wonderful and amazing children; Zachary and Brianna. Also, I am a husband to my beautiful, funny and loving wife, Wendy.
I am very actively involved in my community and I genuinely care about First Alliance Church and all those who attend. I try to go above and beyond to serve everyone I come in contact with. I look forward to meeting you! |

Leslie Boyle,

Leslie was voted onto the board in January of 2018.
|
Leslie and her husband Charlie have lived in Charlotte County since 1983 and attended FAC since 2006. She retired after more than 30 years as an educator and now loves to travel with Charlie to North Carolina to visit their daughter, son-in-law & grandchild, and to St. Petersburg to spend time with their son and his wife. Leslie is grateful to facilitate a small group here at FAC that has become like a family. Together as a team they served in children's ministry and also volunteer at Homeless Coalition. She prays that you, too, will find a family here at First Alliance!
